Position Description:


The Packaging/shipping Tech will perform the day to day activities desired to ensure all raw materials and finished goods are received, stored, labeled, inspected and shipped in accordance to our Quality System Procedures, Systems, and Policies.  This person will be a member of a collaborative work team ensuring that daily requirements for customer shipments, product finishing and materials receipt are performed.   This is a great job for an entry-level candidate as well as an individual who has experience in logistics, shipping, materials handling, small parts assembly.  Candidates with great attention to detail that love to work as a member of a collaborative team are encouraged to apply.


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Performs order fulfillment, order picking, and shipping duties as needed.

  • Participates in the secondary packaging process for cGMP finished products including labeling, over pouching, neck banding and the palletizing of high volume goods

  • Ensures all finished goods are stored in a controlled fashion according to SOP.

  • Reports all functional Key Performance Indicators as directed

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Policies, IATA regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure compliance

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and may be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.

  • Reviews invoices for rate accuracy.

 Job Specifications:



  • Education Minimum:  H.S. diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience requirement: Minimum 1 years' experience working in a GMP Manufacturing setting preferred.

  •  Field of Expertise:  Logistics, Materials Management, International shipping experience with a pharmaceutical, clinical, or quality working environment is desirable.

  • Supervisor: Materials Manager

  • Software Used:  Microsoft Office Products, Sales Force

  •

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
