About the Opportunity:
We are in search of enthusiastic teachers who are passionate about fostering a challenging yet supportive classroom environment that prioritizes student learning and socio-emotional growth.
We utilize a cutting-edge 21st-century curriculum, accessible online and through various traditional methods.
While this position entails online instruction, occasional travel and in-person attendance will be necessary to support state testing and student events.
Responsibilities Include:
Serve as the primary instructor and teacher of recordStrive to achieve all goals related to student achievement, culture, and state-specific academic accountabilityDeliver engaging live lessons via web conference, tailored to student needs and grounded in research-based instructional practicesSet up courses within the Learning Management SystemProvide daily feedback and grade assignments for asynchronous coursesMaintain regular communication and track progress of each studentCollaborate with the Principal to generate and deliver Progress Reports for StudentsAnalyze student data to adjust instructional programs accordinglyEmploy differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needsFoster a joyful, nurturing classroom environmentIntegrate culturally responsive teaching practices into lessons and interactionsUphold school-wide culture expectations and normsCommunicate regularly with families regarding students' academic and socio-emotional developmentIncorporate 21st-century technology skills into classroom practicesParticipate in non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips, both in planning and attendanceCollaborate effectively and respectfully with colleaguesTravel occasionally to support required face-to-face state testing
Qualifications:
Possession of a current state teaching license in the appropriate content areaFamiliarity with State Standards and Common Core StandardsPreferably, a minimum of two years' teaching experienceComfortable working in a growth-focused coaching environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office productsAbility to handle confidential information appropriatelyPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and supervise studentsClear federal and state criminal background checksExperience working in a multicultural setting is desirableAbout Us:
