Landscape Maintenance Lead - 3 Yrs LEAD Experience Required

0 Snohomish, WA Snohomish, WA Full-time Full-time $26 - $30 an hour $26 - $30 an hour Experienced and Energetic Maintenance Crew Lead needed for busy and growing Landscape Company All team Leads must have a minimum of 3 years solid landscape lead experience, know plants inside and out, be excellent with clients and employees, and have a positive can-do attitude.
Must be able to identify plants in all seasons.
Must have excellent artful pruning skills, and be able to teach these skills to others Must know how to care for lawns in all seasons Must have small engine knowledge and be able to safely run mowers, blowers, line trimmers, chain saws etc.
Small irrigation repair skills preferred.
Must be able to get to work on time (our shop is in Snohomish) We require a valid, clean driving record Must be a to drive a trailer An ability to repeatedly lift 40-60lbs.
Must have experience leading crews of 1-4, and know how to explain what needs to be done Be able to train and supervise and ensure knowledge is being gained We prefer a lead by example person, so be OK with boots on the ground regularly Fluent English Speaker.
This person spends a lot of time interacting with our clients and must be a confident, clear communicator, and a good listener Attention to detail a must, with excellent follow through We value employees who are on time, have a positive attitude and love to be outdoors in any kind of weather.
This is not a seasonal position.

We are looking for an individual to start as a Lead , but who has the desire and ability to take over the maintenance division, role expands to include:
sales, client relations, overseeing billings, managing profitability, and ensuring crew is learning, advancing and loving their jobs.

Excellent communication skills; a big picture person, with attention to detail as well.
