Monday-Friday, 9:
30am-6pm Requirements:
Extensive equine / large animal knowledge, handling practices, restraint, and a basic knowledge of general sanitation principles.
Job
Summary:
Conduct a variety of cleaning duties throughout the hospital.
Provide restraint for both inpatient and outpatient procedures performed in the Equine/large animal hospital as needed.
Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Perform daily maintenance cleaning in a timely efficient and thorough manner.
Uphold proper safety protocols.
Properly restrain each type of animal presented.
Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Interact with supervisors & co-workers in a friendly, team-oriented manner.
Proficiently perform any lawful task asked of by the veterinarians or technicians.
Specific Duties:
Restraint of animals presented for procedures.
Cleaning up after procedures performed throughout hospital (Standing OR, Radiology, Equine exam rooms, etc.
) Restock ordered inventory.
Turn over recovery stalls after surgical and MRI procedures.
Assist the veterinarians and technicians as needed.
