Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail and Wholesale Parts Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with both retail and wholesale customers in the automotive industry.
This position involves generating sales and revenue by promoting and selling parts to customers, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Key
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with retail and wholesale customers, such as auto dealerships, repair shops, and other businesses that require automotive parts.
Promote and sell parts to wholesale customers to meet or exceed sales goals.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales reports.
Identify new sales opportunities by prospecting new wholesale customers in the assigned territory.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and revenue.
Work closely with the parts department to ensure that wholesale customers receive accurate and timely delivery of parts.
Participate in industry events such as trade shows and conferences to stay informed on new products and trends in the automotive industry.
Keep abreast of competitor activities and market trends to remain competitive in the market.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge and communicate this to customers.
Process retail sales through the counter, and assist with phone sales when needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Some college or vocational training in sales, marketing, or automotive technology preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to work independently and manage a territory.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is preferred.
