Advanced Systems Group (ASG) is a newly formed stand-alone division of Brunswick, the world's largest recreational marine business. We are seeking an Application Engineer to join our team in Snohomish, WA. This Application Engineer will serve as a key member of an experienced technical team with our RELiON brand providing support for Lithium batteries to a diverse customer base across a variety of applications with a key focus at consumer and dealer levels. This individual will have well developed communication skills both written and verbal that are very professional and express a clear and passionate 'customer first' attitude. We are seeking someone who is highly skilled in methodically diagnosing customer issues, troubleshooting to root cause and determining a proper resolution while leaving them highly satisfied with the outcome. This role is also an internal team player who will generously provide internal support to develop technical content in training and marketing materials.
Responsibilities:
Help customers through the full scope of early product integration, from compatibility to battery selection, sizing, peripheral pairing and even installation. Help to resolve customer/dealer performance issues in the use of their Lithium batteries across a wide variety of applications. Identify opportunities for product improvement and communicate those ideas to product management and engineering teams Qualify product performance issues as warranty claims when possible, initiate claim management procedure, while capturing key quality data during the process Collaborate with application engineers to identify and resolve integration issues, better understand potential future problems and establish proactive preventative steps in training and other technical documents Stay up to date with the company's offered products, product features. Effectively communicate and educate all prospective and existing customers on the company's products, solutions and advantages at events, on calls and in written communication Form strong relationships with our key business partners while fostering their technical understanding of our product line Skills and
Qualifications:
B.S degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience Familiarity with DC and AC electrical systems. Battery industry experience a plus High level of proficiency with technical support via phone, email and in-person field settings Ability to work remotely 40%, travel 10% Ability to work East Coast hours preferred, not required Independently make decisions and solve problems based on technical acumen Direct customer service experience and/or experience talking on the phone with customers Ability to remember and communicate detailed technical information clearly and accurately Excellent written and verbal communication skills Expertise in any of these markets:
Low speed electric vehicles, Marine, Recreational vehicles, Floor Machines, AWP's, Material Handling, Solar photovoltaic systems Moderate understanding and/or proficiency in CANbus communication. A demonstrated ability to drive sales through technical support and customer service relations Passionate about innovations in energy storage, renewable energy, energy-related technology Location:
Snohomish, WA Semi-remote (2-3 days from home per week) Work East Coast Hours Occasional travel to staff trade shows, conduct field testing, or customer training may be required About the Company:

$80K -- $100K

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
